La Boulangerie consistently offers delicious pastries, and the friendly, inviting atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. The service is always top-notch, and I love the convenience of having iced drinks like Vietnamese coffee, cold brew, and organic green tea already chilled and ready to go.

FOLLOW UP: Sorry to say the almond croissant was a total miss. Not to be purchased again. It's never been my favorite one in the Bay Area. It used to be good enough. I'll try something else the next time. The croissant bread toast was delightful. LAST WEEK'S REVIEW: Always, always friendly and patient service. A joy to stop in to get something to satisfy my mega sweet tooth with their fine treats. You enter wonderland when you walk through the doorway. Today, a delectable almond croissant. A loaf of croissant bread to toast for breakfast with friends soon. Can't wait to lather it with lilikoi butter! There is nothing like it in either parts of the Sunset, Parkside, West Portal, or Outer Richmond. There are other bakeries in those areas with other delicious offerings.

One of the best bakeries I've ever been to! Seriously, I thought the pastries were as good as some I've had in Europe. The staff was also super friendly, and they had samples of some of the pastries! I got a strawberry cream tart, potato bacon onion tart and a ham and cheese croissant and all of them were delicious. I loved that the strawberry cream tart was very light and refreshing. It was perfectly crisp. The ham and cheese was pretty cheesy but heated up, it was perfection. I also ordered an ice latte, and I liked that it was not too milky. I could really taste the espresso! It was perfect with my pastries. The only con was that there was no restroom available and not too much seating. I will be back the next time I'm in San Francisco!
